Broadway Kids

Broadway Kids (ages 7-10)

Session I: July 15 – July 19, 2013
Session II: July 22 – July 26, 2013 (Please contact the PAS office before registering for this session)
Weekdays:  9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Cost:  $325.00 per session

Have fun while working on musical theatre skills including singing technique, movement, stage presence, acting and more! Work toward an open class performance on the Friday of each week!

Musical Theatre

Professional Musical Theatre Workshop (ages 10-15)

Session I: July 8 – July 19, 2013
Session II: July 22 – August 2, 2013
Weekdays:  9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Cost:  $575.00

Become a triple threat musical theatre performer in this two week workshop! Work on vocal technique and performance, acting and theatre dance! Students learn professional rehearsal techniques and work toward a Main Stage performance.

Conservatory Program

3 Week Summer Teen Musical Theatre Conservatory Program (ages 14-18)

July 29 – August 16, 2013
Weekdays: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

$800.00

Mornings will be spent in the conservatory training program.  Afternoons will be spent rehearsing a Main Stage production to be presented during the final week.  Come and experience a true summer stock rehearsal process while working with professional teachers and directors! Former PAS students admitted by permission only.  New students will be required to audition.  Please contact PAS for more information.

Actor's Workshop

2 week Summer Actor's Workshop (ages 9-15)

August 5 – August 16, 2013
Weekdays: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Cost:  $575

If you act but you’re not interested in a musical theatre program, then this is for you!  Work on acting skills, character development and improvisation in a fun and creative atmosphere.  Work toward an end of week performance.

Registration Policies

Registration will begin immediately and will be processed on a first come, first served basis. 10% discount for two classes or two family members; 15% discount for three classes or three family members. All classes must be paid for in full at the time of registration unless other arrangements have been made. All tuition is non-refundable one week prior to the first day of the session. All tuition payments include a non-refundable $50 processing and registration fee. Limited scholarships available based on need.  Please call the hotline for more information.

What We Do:
Our comprehensive program is designed for students of all experience levels and focuses on individualizing each session to the specific participants.

Students spend their day taking classes in acting, singing, and dancing and rehearsing for a final fully-staged performance on our Community Theatre stage!

Who We Are:
The Mayo Center's Performing Arts School teachers are all experienced teaching artists and industry professionals from the New York/New Jersey area.  They hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in Theatre Arts, Music, Dance, Musical Theatre, and Education.

 The MPAC's Performing Arts School is a performance-based theatrical training program offering students ages 5-Adults a quality education in the theatre arts in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.
