Any teacher attending an Explorations Through the Arts Event may attend one Professional Development Workshop for free.

Below are examples of workshops from last season:

Theatre & Test-Taking for the Elementary Grades
Two Sessions to choose from!
Tuesday, March 9th from 12:30-3:30pm OR 4:30-7:30pm
Cost: $30.00*
Teachers will learn to use principles of theatre to enhance teaching. Workshop will focus on the advantages of bringing theatre into the classroom to build imagination, expression, and creativity, while encouraging concentration, discipline and focus

Julius Caesar/Shakespeare for Middle School & High School
Two Sessions to choose from!
Tuesday, March 23rd from 12:30-3:30pm OR 4:30-7:30pm
Cost: $30.00*
Explore how actors and directors access the physical and emotional dimensions of the text.  Learn rehearsal techniques to help students demystify the language and inhabit the imaginary world of the play.    

All workshops provide teachers with 3 Professional Development credits

*Any teacher bringing students to an Explorations show may attend one Professional Development Workshop free of charge.
