MPAC BOARD OF TRUSTEE SUGGESTIONS
Mayo Performing Arts Center Board of Trustees represent the community that we serve and collectively acts as a fiduciary of the organization. Candidates are brought before the Board for consideration by the Governance and Nominating Committee. Each Trustee brings a unique set of skills to the Board, but there are commonalities — all candidates for consideration should:
- Have a passion for the mission of the organization.
- Be agreeable to supporting the organization financially with a proud, personal annual gift and support other MPAC events and initiatives including the capital campaign.
- Accept the legal and fiduciary responsibility of the organization.
- Be able to work as part of a collective to advance the organization’s mission and growth.
- Have an understanding of the community served, either locally or regionally.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Governance and Nominating Committee.
