MPAC is dedicated to providing exceptional arts education opportunities to children and adults of all ages and abilities. Through our Performing Arts School, School Programs, Main Stage Performances and Outreach Opportunities, over 40,000 children and their families participate in theatre classes, school time shows, workshops, seminars, student recognition programs, and enrichment opportunities. Each program strives to make the performing arts a vital component of every child’s upbringing and to spark a lifelong interest in music, dance and culture.

Performing Arts School

MPAC’s Performing Arts School offers a wide variety of classes and programs for ages 3 – adult in Musical Theatre, Acting, Voice and much more!  Classes are offered for a 14 week Fall and Spring semester and throughout the summer!  This dynamic program serves over 1,000 students annually offering exceptional quality training in a nurturing and supportive atmosphere!

This audition based group of talented teens represents MPAC by performing for non profit organizations, community events, hospitals and fundraisers all over the area.  This mutually beneficial arrangement provides free entertainment to organizations while giving the students valuable performing experience and the opportunity to use their talent to help those in need!

PAS On the Road

Our Performing Arts School (PAS)  On the Road program brings the arts to students and communities who many not always have access to them.  Partnering with local community organizations, MPAC provides high quality arts and education activities free of charge to a variety of ages and organizations throughout New Jersey.

Field Trips

Field trip shows are offered for Preschool through Grade 12, with shows for Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and more!

MPAC’s field trip series meets Common Core standards, and free study guides are available for every show.

Miracle Project

The Miracle Project is an evidence-based, groundbreaking program which helps children and young adults with autism and other special needs build communication and social skills, community, and greater self-esteem though music, acting, dance, acting and storytelling.

Spring Musical

MPAC’s annual spring musical gives students and local performers the opportunity to perform in a fully produced professional musical on the MPAC main stage.  Performers work with a professional Artistic and Production staff, Orchestra and crew with a professional set, costumes, wigs and more.  This special program includes Broadway Equity Guest Artists in the cast who serve as mentors to the young performers while they perform for thousands of MPAC Audience members.

Residencies

These unique programs bring the arts right into the classroom!  Working with schools all over Northern New Jersey MPAC provides many resources for Arts Creation, Exploration and Recognition. Our Residency Programs enhance classroom curriculum with a variety of programs tailored to fit the needs of each school.
