Joan Brueche has been named MPAC’s Volunteer of the Month of November.
This recognition program is designed to shine a light on the many individuals who contribute their time and energy toward making MPAC and the MPAC customer experience a success.
Joan has been a volunteer with MPAC for almost 18 years, and she was named Volunteer of the Year for the 2008-2009 season. You can usually see her on the front lines, welcoming patrons as she scans their tickets. “Joan has an energy that cannot be explained, but you just feel good around her,” said Erin Pach, MPAC’s Front of House Director. “Joan’s quick wittedness and humorous attitude make patrons and volunteers alike feel like they are family.”
“I have loved the theater since I came here as a kid when it was a movie theater,” Joan said. “I have some wonderful memories from then. Since becoming an MPAC volunteer, I have made so many new friends and new memories that I cherish. Special thanks to an old friend that got me involved in the first place, Barbara Capsouras!”
