Grateful Dead tribute Dead On Live returns to MPAC with a special all-star lineup for a fun, loose, jam-filled evening of good old Grateful Dead and family faves. Dead On Live creative force Marc Muller, recently featured in Bruce Springsteen’s Western Stars project, has put together a stellar cast of veteran musicians featuring Steely Dan guitarist Jon Herington, Lumineers and Levon veteran Byron Isaacs on bass, the amazing Jeff Kazee (Southside Johnny) on keyboards, and premier jam band drummer John Morgan Kimock.
Multi instrumentalist Marc Muller directs a Note For Note celebration capturing important and beloved periods of the Grateful Dead’s long and illustrious, and stylistically diverse career. He has assembled an impressive cast of world class musicians that have been able to reproduce virtually every note of every instrument, as well as all of the beautifully orchestrated vocal arrangements that are trademarks of the Dead’s classic American recordings, to a level that’s perhaps never been accomplished and performed live in concert before. In keeping with the true spirit of the Grateful Dead, every DOL show also features plenty of jamming and improv that’s sure to keep the kids dancing and shaking their bones!

We are excited to welcome patrons back in the theatre in a limited capacity. This event will be held with a maximum capacity of 150 patrons and will be seated with social distancing measures in place, per Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 183. Due to the current pandemic (Covid-19), ticket buyer and members of the ticket buyer’s party understand that there are inherent risks associated with attending performances, events and classes presented by Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) at our building and in the community, and agree to assume all risks with regard to the pandemic. Ticket buyer and members of the ticket buyer’s party agree to voluntarily waive, release, defend, indemnify and save harmless MPAC together with its employees, volunteers, Board of Trustees, artists, sponsors and affiliates against any damages, claims, lawsuits, liabilities, attorney fees and expenses which they may sustain, be subjected to, or caused to incur should ticketholder or members in of his/her party contract Covid-19 or any other illness or injuries related to the Covid-19 virus including death or otherwise.
Ticket buyer and members of the ticket buyer’s party agree to observe and obey all instructions, warnings, or other requirements provided on site, including wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, temperature checks, participating in contact tracing if necessary and other guidance that may be communicated on site or in advance of the event. Failure to follow MPAC guidelines at any time will result in expulsion from the theater without a refund.
