Morris Family Concerts: A Day Of Irish Culture
Continue the celebration of Irish culture with two events at Mayo Performing Arts Center. An interactive Children’s concert at 2:30pm following the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Morristown. There is also a 5:00pm concert by Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones. Derek Warfield is a singer, songwriter, mandolin player and a founding member of the Wolfe Tones, performing with the band for nearly thirty seven years, writing and recording over 60 songs.

Get warm, get a snack and Celebrate Irish heritage with various artists, bag pipers and step dancers. Kids can meet the performers and learn some steps, see how the bag pipe works and other activities. There is also a 5:00pm concert by Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones. Derek Warfield is a singer, songwriter, mandolin player and a founding member of the Wolfe Tones, performing with the band for nearly thirty seven years, writing and recording over 60 songs. As a founding member of The Wolfe Tones he featured on every album recorded by the band from 1965’s debut album The Foggy Dew through to 1989’s 25th Anniversary. He with the Young Wolfe Tones are keeping the tradition alive. Each show is sold separately.
