Succasunna resident John McDonnell has been named MPAC’s Volunteer of the Month of February.
This recognition program is designed to shine a light on the many individuals who contribute their time and energy toward making MPAC and the MPAC customer experience a success.
John McDonnell has been a volunteer at MPAC with his wife Pauline for over ten years. In fact, it was his wife who coaxed him to try volunteering because she was interested in it. “When we had our first training session, I thought the other volunteers looked like nice and interesting people. I decided to give it a try,” he said. “This is a fun and useful way to spend retirement.”
“You can usually find John ready with a joke or two even in the most stressful of times,” said Eric Pach, MPAC’s Front of House Director. “He approaches working with the public with a sense of levity while taking his role seriously. He always keeps management informed and is well-trusted to help in delicate situations. John is highly dependable, and you can’t shake the jokester out of him, even if you tried.”
