This refund protection allows you to apply for a full refund on your order should you, or anyone in your party, be unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.

Covered reasons include:

  • Illness of patron or dependent
  • Weather
  • Transportation disruption
  • Jury duty
  • Home emergencies
  • Relocation and military service
  • Job loss

To purchase Booking Protect, simply select this option during the checkout process. The cost is calculated automatically based on a percentage of your ticket order total.

Your coverage begins the moment you complete your purchase! You have up to 14 days after your purchase to refund Booking Protect if you change your mind. Patrons may submit a claim directly to Booking Protect’s in-house customer service team via this link, up to 45 days after the event. Documentation or proof of circumstances will be required.

No. When your ticket order is refunded by MPAC because of a performance cancellation or rescheduled event, the amount paid for Booking Protect on that order is not. Your refund will include the face value of the ticket plus MPAC service fees only. Your Booking Protect fee has covered you from the moment you completed your initial order.

Covid-19 is included under illness protection, if the patron or a dependent receives a confirmed positive through a doctor or a laboratory-confirmed test and is required to isolate per current guidelines. Home rapid tests will not be accepted. 

Changes of plans are not covered, including travel or social/personal engagements (i.e. weddings or school events). For more complete details on the covered reasons, please view the terms and conditions.

Claims submitted without documentation will not be approved.

If a show is cancelled or rescheduled, MPAC will continue to offer refunds or account credits.

All MPAC ticket sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges, unless you are a member or season ticket holder.

No, Booking Protect coverage cannot be purchased with an MPAC account credit. However, you can purchase tickets with an account credit and still add Booking Protect to your order through another form of payment.

Refund Protection is not needed for Parking reservations. If your plans should change, please call the box office to request a parking refund.
