March 17 – April 15
Reception: Wednesday, March 26, 5 – 7 PM
Charles Miller, MPAC program consultant and coordinator of the Art Upstairs Gallery at the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) in Morristown, has again invited County College of Morris (CCM) Visual Arts students to show their work in MPAC’s Gallery Space this spring. Not only do Visual Arts students at CCM have the opportunity to show their work to the general public, but several will also be presented with awards during an awards ceremony at the reception.
The Visual Arts Program at CCM will present gift certificates from Blick Art Supplies to the award winners. The prizes are a $100 Best in Show award, two $50 awards for Award of Merit, and three $25 awards for Honorable Mention.
Serving as judge is well known New Jersey artist Dan Fenelon. Dan is also a partner at Core Creative Placemaking.
Adding to the awards, Mike Dziomba, president of the New Jersey Art Association, will donate an additional $100 prize for Best in Show and Charles Miller will donate two tickets to a MPAC show of choice to each of the student award winners.
The exhibition, featuring approximately 35 pieces, was curated by artist and CCM Professor Todd Doney. The 2025 show will mark the 11th year that MPAC has hosted the CCM Art Students exhibition.
