MPAC is located in the heart of thriving downtown Morristown, NJ, and is easily accessible by car, public transportation and on foot.

MPAC operates two parking lots in town exclusively for MPAC patrons for select shows. Reserved parking is available for purchase 2 – 3 weeks before your show – watch your emails for notifications!

The Town of Morristown also owns many parking lots. Street meters are free on Sundays. All distances for the lots are approximate.

Driving Directions

Take Exit 35 for Route 124 and South Street. Turn left at the ramp onto South Street. Go through four lights to find MPAC on your right.

Take Exit 35 for Route 124 and South Street. At the top of the ramp, turn right onto Madison Avenue. At the first light, turn right onto South Street. Go through three more lights. Look for MPAC on your right.

  • Take I-78 east to I-287 north. Follow “From I-287 Northbound” (above). From Central & Southern New Jersey via New Jersey Turnpike
  • Take Turnpike Exit 10. Follow signs to I-287 north. Follow “From I-287 Northbound” (above). From Northwest New Jersey and Eastern PA via I-80
  • I-80 east to I-287 south. Follow “From I-287 Southbound” (above).

I-80 west to I-287 south. Follow “From I-287 Southbound” (above).

Take Turnpike Exit 14. Take I-78 west to Route 24 west. Stay on Route 24 to the end and take I-287 south. Follow “From I-287 Southbound” (above).

Shuttle

For select performances MPAC operates a Gogel My Limo Van (25 passenger van) to conveniently pick up patrons who use the Verizon Lot or the DeHart Street Lot operated by the Parking Authority.  The MPAC shuttle will make several loops during an event, and will wait in the front of the theater on South Street to take you back to the parking lots.  The shuttle operates two hours prior to the start time of a performance, and will stay until the lobby is cleared of patrons for the night.

Please note MPAC operates the Verizon and Church lots on select performances and the attendants are on duty 2 hours prior to the start of a performance, and remain at the lot 15 minutes after the start of select performances.  Verizon is a gated parking lot and if patrons arrive late there is no guarantee of admittance.  When an opener is scheduled, attendants will remain one and half hours after the start of select performances.
